FASHION PULIS: Message sent, heard

Published Sep 2, 2023 04:51 am

The grapevine is once again abuzz. The absence of Controversial Personality (CP) in social media has not gone unnoticed by followers and kibitzers.

At first, CP’s absence was assumed to be wanting to just take a rest from the toxic environment that bashers bring to her page. While CP had already lessened her posts, this time, she had gone radio silent.

When social media was starting to grow in the country, CP was among those personalities whose posts were looked forward to by the public. People were interested in what CP shared, whether it was about her daily routine or reactions to issues. Nonetheless, CP was not spared by bashers who made it a point to write nasty comments. Sometimes, CP let those comments go, but sometimes she spent time not mincing words to reply.

Now, rumors are trying to address why CP has opted to be quiet. The scenario that allegedly transformed CP’s public persona was like that of a movie scene. How CP probably wished that incident was just fiction but if rumors were true, CP got the message.

Sometime ago, CP’s fondness to go to social media to raise her point might have gotten her in hot water. Not everyone agreed with what CP expressed. Unexpectedly, CP supposedly witnessed a violent incident involving a member of the household. The alleged incident was read as the message being sent to her by people whom she might have crossed. Hence, CP must have chosen the choice she felt was the best way to protect her family.

‘You cannot control the behavior of others, but you can always choose how you respond to it.’ ― Roy T. Bennett

Not her type

How true is it that kinks are slowly showing in the periphery of the relationship of a couple? Showbiz Man (SM) and Talented Performer (TP) have been in a relationship for a while. First, their management tried to see if they would have chemistry and the partnership worked. The two started gaining followers and soon, SM was off the market of young lotharios. An effect was that TP’s career was now centered on a loveteam that formed when she worked with SM.

As the couple worked on growing their fanbase, the public had the impression that all was well with their private life, that is, with their family members. SM is known for having a supportive family, while TP has a low-profile team. Seeing the success of SM and TP as a professional team, the bosses invested in making them grow together. Personally, the two were developing their feelings toward each other as well. Predictably, their fans hoped the two would be each other’s forever.

Then, one incident apparently hinted that all was not well between TP and SM’s relations. Rumors started to emerge that indeed, TP might not be enjoying the private support coming from SM’s side that people thought she did. Allegedly, a powerful, influential member was not in favor of having TP for SM. The said relation was never vocal about SM with TP. That attitude was seen as acceptable and the person’s way of not wanting to interfere in SM’s choice. Hence, that attitude added credibility to the said incident that exposed that imperfection.
