Civil servants entitled to various exclusive benefits this September --- CSC
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has partnered with various establishments to offer exclusive rates and freebies for civil servants in line with the celebration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

“We prepared these special treats as a thank you to our staff. Your sacrifices to meet the needs and provide quality service to the public at any time are truly priceless. Thank you, everyone,” said CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles in a statement issued Saturday, Sept. 2.
With the theme, “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes,” CSC said this year’s PCSA celebration “reflects the collective experience of the government workforce in the new normal” as well as to push for “digital transformation and innovations to maintain public service excellence and continuity.”
Nograles said the 1.9 million active civil servants and retired employees are entitled to these exclusive benefits for the entire month of September in recognition of their “hard work and commitment” to public service.
CSC said government officials and employees may access the perks and discounts from public and private sector partners in accommodations, amusement facilities, food orders, health and wellness facilities, retail outlets, service providers, and travel agencies.
Employees, CSC said, must present their government agency identification (ID) or UMID card to receive these discounts.
CSC noted that job orders and contracts of service employees are also encouraged to “experience these perks.”
Related to this, the 123rd PCSA will also feature various activities that include the 2023 Public Sector Human Resource Symposium, the 2023 Awards Rites for Outstanding Government Employees, the Government Online Career Fair, the Virtual Recognition Program for Contact Center ng Bayan Partner Agencies, and the PRIME HRM Awards, among others.
