TODA officers from 10 new barangays take oath in Taguig

Officers of 34 Tricycle Operators and Drivers' Associations (TODAs) from Taguig’s 10 new barangays took their oath before Mayor Lani Cayetano.

They took their oath as officers and members of the EMBO Tricycle Taguig Federation (EMTRITAGFED).

They came from Barangays Cembo, Comembo, Pembo, East Rembo, West Rembo, South Cembo, Pitogo, Post Proper Northside, Post Proper Southside and Rizal, which are now part of Taguig.

"Dito po sa City of Taguig, kinikilala po natin ang kahalagahan ng transport sector. Dahil bahagi na po kayo ng Taguig community, nais ko na po na maipadama sa inyo ang TLC ng Taguig: ang pangarap natin na makamit na Transformative, Lively, at Caring City (Here in Taguig City, we recognize the importance of the transport sector. Because you are part of the Taguig community, I want you to feel the TLC of Taguig: our dream to achieve as a Transformative, Lively, at Caring City),” said Cayetano.

During the open forum, the TODA officers raised concerns about tricycle franchises and eligibility for medical and educational assistance.
