Fire hits industrial areas in Malabon, Valenzuela
Two industrial areas in Malabon and Valenzuela Cities were gutted by fire on Monday evening, Sept. 18, and early Tuesday morning , Sept. 19.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire on Gov. Pascual Street, Barangay Catmon, Malabon City was raised to the first alarm at around 10:06 p.m. It went up to the second alarm at around 10:09 p.m.
The fire status was escalated to the third alarm at around 10:13 a.m. and was contained at around 11:30 a.m.
The blaze was extinguished at around 6:03 a.m. on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, firefighters responded to another fire incident in an industrial area in Barangay Lingunan, Valenzuela City on Tuesday.

According to the BFP, the fire status was raised to the first alarm at 3:35 a.m.
It went up to the second alarm at around 3:41 a.m. and to the third alarm at 3:52 a.m.
Authorities raised the fire status to the fourth alarm at 4:23 a.m. and was declared under control at 5:35 a.m.
As of this writing, the blaze has yet to be extinguished by the firefighters.
