Operatives of the Philippine National Police-Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) have arrested a 29-year old man for allegedly selling abortion pills online during an entrapment operation in Binondo, Manila.
Nabbed was Enrique Jose Bulda Jr. who is now detained at the Manila Police District and facing a case of violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2021.
A report from the PNP-ACG stated that the entrapment was conducted after its operatives chanced upon an advertisement posted on Facebook Marketplace under the "Cytotec of the Philippines" which offers abortion pills.
An ACG agent showed interest in buying some pills and later, was messaged by a certain "Doc Cherry White" who offered abortion pill for 3,500.
An entrapment was then conducted near a mall in Binondo, Manila on Mobday, 1:30 p.m. and resulted in the arrest of Bulda.
