PAGASA also said there is no Low Pressure Area (LPA) inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

However, the state-run weather bureau did not rule out the possibility for an LPA to develop over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) still prevails in Mindanao Area according to PAGASA weather specialist Veronica Torres.

With this, cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, thunder, and lightning will be expected in Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, Davao Oriental, and Davao Occidental as per Torres.

In Metro Manila and Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will be expected on Wednesday, Sept. 20 according to PAGASA.

In Visayas and Mindanao, including the Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain showers are expected due to ITCZ and thunderstorms.

For the next three days, partly cloudy to cloudy skies would still be expected in Metro Manila based on PAGASA's forecast. (Lizst Torres Abello)
