Vice President Sara Duterte has lauded the provincial government of Zamboanga del Sur for its governance vision that is in line with President Marcos' 8-Point Agenda.
A guest speaker at an event for the province's 71st Charter Anniversary, Duterte cited the Zamboanga del Sur's government officials' vision that prioritizes their people's welfare, protection of the environment and security.
She said they would not go wrong with their priorities "because these are the primary needs of the people of your province."

She added they are aligned with Marcos' socio-economic agenda which are:
- Protect purchasing power and mitigate socioeconomic scarring
- Reduce vulnerability and mitigate scarring from the Covid-19 pandemic
- Ensure sound macroeconomic fundamentals
- Create more jobs
- Create quality jobs
- Create green jobs
- Uphold public order and safety, peace and security
- Ensure a level playing field
Duterte also said the province's priorities had similarities with Davao City’s Byaheng Du30, which was implemented when she was still its local chief executive until 2022.
The Vice President was joined by Senator Imee Marcos in the event, with the theme HEARTS beat faster in Zamboanga del Sur. HEARTS stands for Health, Education and Environment, Agriculture, Roads and Bridges, Tourism, and Security.
