Suspect in woman's slay in Pasay nabbed in Las Piñas City
One of the suspects in the murder of a 36-year-old woman in Pasay City was arrested during a follow-up operation conducted by the Pasay Investigation Detection Management Section (IDMS) on Sunday, Sept. 17, in Las Piñas City.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as Joshua Albior, 25, was arrested at around 9:45 p.m. in front of Moonwalk Public Market in Talon 4, Las Piñas City.
The other suspect, Gelbirth Albos Peurto, remains at large.
According to the report, the suspects shot Evangeline Dulaca to death on Sept. 10 in front of the Venus Hotel on San Juan St. in Pasay City.
During police interrogation, Albior revealed that the other suspect and the victim engaged in a heated argument after she allegedly robbed Puerto and refused to have sex with him.
Murder charges will be filed against Albior while a manhunt operation for Puerto are ongoing.
