P1-M shabu seized from village pal, dad

GENERAL SANTOS CITY – A barangay councilor and his companion were arrested and suspected shabu worth P1 million was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Kalawag, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, on September 15.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency identified the suspects as Zacaria Buisan, 35, councilor of Barangay Poblacion, Talitay, Maguindanao del Sur, and Guimaluding Sangkad, 40.

PDEA-Region 12 Director Aileen Lovitos said the suspects were listed as bigtime drug traffickers who operate in Maguindanao and Sultan Kudarat.

Suspects are facing drug-related charges.
