Heavy traffic in Parañaque due to DPWH construction works

The Parañaque City government warned motorists of an expected heavy traffic on Sept. 20 due to the construction of a box culvert and bridge by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

According to the traffic advisory released by the Parañaque Public Information Office (PIO), heavy traffic will be experienced along J. Tongquia Road, particularly the stretch of Evacom-Canaynay going to Topland CAA in Las Piñas City.

Traffic re-routing will be implemented on the said date.

Heavy trucks are advised to take the alternate route to C5 going to Quirino Avenue and Alabang-Zapote Road to CAA Road.

A two-way traffic scheme will be implemented along J. Tongquiao Avenue for light vehicles.

The city government said additional traffic policemen will be deployed.
