The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has started giving free rides to all government workers at the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) in celebration of the 123rd Civil Service anniversary.

The free rides will be from Monday, Sept. 18 to Wednesday, Sept. 20, from from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

DOTr Undersecretary for Railways Jorjette Aquino said government workers need to present a valid government identification cards to avail it.

“This is our way to express appreciation to government employees for their work,” said Aquino.
