ABS-CBN Entertainment, a unit of multi-media giant ABS-CBN Corporation, reported that it has hit a new milestone on YouTube with 45 million subscribers to remain as the most subscribed YouTube channel in all of Southeast Asia.
In a statement, the firm said it is the number one YouTube channel in the region in terms of all-time high subscribers in the Media and Entertainment category, according to Tubular Labs, one of the most trusted global video measurement and analytics platforms.
Tubular Labs said in a report that ABS-CBN, the country’s biggest content provider, continues to strengthen its digital presence to reach more audiences in different parts of the world.
Recently, its newest primetime show, “Senior High,” was made available for free and on-demand on YouTube in the US, Canada, Middle East, Europe, and Australia.
ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel also houses its free livestreaming service, Kapamilya Online Live, where viewers in the Philippines and select territories enjoy live and on-demand viewing of the latest episodes of various Kapamilya shows, the report added.
Last Sept. 11, all three primetime shows hit an all-time high live viewership record as viewers witnessed the new chapter in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” action-packed revelations in “The Iron Heart,” and the quest for revenge in “Senior High.”
Viewers’ afternoons are also more intense on Kapamilya Online Live with the comeback of afternoon shows on ABS-CBN - mystery series “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” and revenge series “Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin.”
ABS-CBN further said that apart from the streaming of currently airing programs and classic shows, its viewers around the world can also look forward to the streaming of the red carpet coverage of the highly anticipated ABS-CBN Ball 2023, where the biggest and brightest stars come together for a night full of gratitude on September 30.
Additionally, it said, viewers worldwide can enjoy exclusive “Made for YouTube” shows, with exciting new offerings coming soon.
Classic and well-loved ABS-CBN shows are also available for ABS-CBN Superview where viewers can expect fresh offerings every month.
