22 trike drivers say 'I dos' in Pasig's first 'Kasalang TODA'

Some 22 tricycle drivers and their partners tied the knot in Pasig City's first ever mass wedding for the city's Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODAs) on Monday, Sept. 18.

The "Kasalang TODA" was proposed and organized by the 11th City Council as a special event for members of the city's TODAs, shouldering the expenses for the ceremonies which included the catering services after the wedding.

Councilor Cruz, who is also the chairman of the Committee on Transportation and Mobility, said the city government aims to organize more mass weddings because they "help renew and strengthen the unions of couples and families."

Jaworski congratulated the newly wedded couples, and advised them to give equal respect to their partners and to inspire each other.

The city councilors also reminded the couples to put God and their family first and remain committed to their relationship.
