TUMAUINI, Isabela – A restaurant here returned a bag containing P390,000 left behind by a customer on Saturday, September 16.
Restaurant manager Jennifer Diaz said they found a red bag with bundles of P1,000 bills and promptly informed the police and posted on social media.
Town chief of police Police Major Charles Cariño proceeded to the restaurant and found a wallet in the bag with an identification card under the name Jeffrey Harada, a helper and resident of Pamplona, Cagayan.
Harada was informed and returned to the restaurant to retrieve the bag.
He said the money was proceeds from corn he sold in Cauayan City, this province, and was owned by his employer.
