Parañaque LGU receives donations from Okada Manila


The Parañaque City government received various equipment from Okada Manila after holding a coastal clean-up drive on Friday, Sept. 15.

According to Mayor Eric Olivarez, Okada Manila led by Retired Gen. Debold Sinas, the hotel security and safety division chief, donated equipment for distribution to residents belonging to indigent and vulnerable sectors or during calamities.

The donations included 103 boxes and 32 luggages containing clothes, blankets, and footwear among others. 

They were received by his wife, Aileen Claire Olivarez, City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Assistant Officer-in-Charge Engr. Teresa Quiogue, and Cleanliness, Beautification and Sanitation Office Co-Chairperson Maan Shayne Pausanos.

The donation was conducted after the clearing-drive at the Coastal Seaside Boardwalk in Okada Manila in celebration of the International Coastal Clean-up Day.
