Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez announced that new medical facilities at Ospital ng Parañaque (OsPar)-2 are formally open to the public after they were blessed and inaugurated in a ceremony on Friday, Sept. 15.

The new facilities at OsPar-2 medical facilities were the intensive care unit (ICU), neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), dialysis clinic, and tertiary laboratory.
The new medical facilities can now serve the public after the hospital received its License to Operate (LTO) from the Department of Health (DOH) on Aug. 29.
The mayor said the opening of the medical facilities at the hospital will help the city government give free, quality and affordable healthcare services.
Olivarez said the city government is also planning to add other facilities to offer more services at the hospital like a molecular laboratory, family planning unit, CT scan, and animal bite center.
He added that the hospital is also currently applying for an LTO for the Malasakit Center, a one-stop-shop for residents in need of medical and financial assistance.
The mayor also expressed his gratitude to his brother, Representative Edwin Olivarez, for his continued support to the city government.
OsPar-2 is located in Barangay Don Bosco, Parañaque City.
