LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police nabbed a senior citizen and a 28-year-old man for gun and drugs in Padre Burgos and Candelaria, this province, on Saturday, September 16.
The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) identified the suspects as Roberto Fajardo Jr., 60, of Sitio Pogspak, Barangay Burgos, Padre Burgos, and Pauline Argie Gaor, 28, of Barangay Magilag Sur, Candelaria.
Fajardo was arrested on Saturday at 11:40 a.m. through a search warrant for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 and Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act issued by Judge Portia Martinez-Panegro, vice executive judge, Regional Trial Court, this city, on September 14.
Seized from Fajardo were four sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 2.3 grams and three caliber .45 bullets.
Police nabbed Fajardo after receiving complaints from Barangay Burgos residents about his illegal activities.
Gaor was arrested at about 9 p.m. on September 16 in Sampaloc Lake near Candelaria-San Juan Road in Barangay Malabanban Norte after he a 9mm pistol was seen tucked on his waist. He also yielded suspected shabu hidden in his wallet with an estimated weight of .36 grams.
Fajardo and Gaor faces election, drugs, and gun-related charges.
