The Parañaque city government conducted a CPR awareness program on Wednesday, Sept. 13, to raise awareness on the importance of CPR, the first-line response in any accidents, among the youth.

Mayor Eric Olivarez said the activity was held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex and was attended by 300 beneficiary students under the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) program.
Olivarez said the SPES is a program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that aims to provide employment to indigent students and out-of-school youth.
He said the program was conducted through the Public Employment Service Office under Amelia Martin and the Health Emergency Management under Dr. Crislyn Joy Mendoza.
