LOOK: Cong Villar leads storytelling session with daycare kids

Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar went on teacher mode--and probably mommy mode as well--last Sept. 14 when she visited local daycare centers in Fatima Subdivision, Barangay Zapote to lead storytelling sessions with the kids there.

Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar went on teacher mode--and probably mommy mode as well--last Sept. 14 when she visited local daycare centers in Fatima Subdivision, Barangay Zapote to lead storytelling sessions with the kids there.

The move was part of the Villar's "Handog Karunungan” book donation initiative.

Villar, a deputy speaker in the House of Representatives, wants to demonstrate to the children "the importance of reading for lifelong learning".

The colorful, interactive reading materials that Villar's team distributed to the children were provided by Adarna House, a leading local publisher of award-winning books for youngsters.
