Various speculations have spread in the last few months on whether BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa would renew their contract with YG Entertainment.

The latest report was that YG Entertainment offered Lisa 50 billion won (about $37.6 million) to renew her contract but she rejected it.

The agency refuted the reports, saying negotiations with Lisa are still ongoing.

"Discussions regarding Lisa's contract renewal are still ongoing.", YG Entertainment said, SBS News reported

BLACKPINK will hold the finale of their “Born Pink World Tour” on Sept. 16 and 17 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

Back in July, reports spread that Lisa would not renew her contract after a Chinese agency, which asked YG Entertainment if Lisa could be part of a show. YG Entertainment told the agency that they could not discuss schedule beyond August, the month that BLACKPINK’s contact would expire.

"The uncertain scheduling is because of the group's concert tour schedule as well as LISA's individually scheduled activities. It has nothing to do with the contract renewal. Contract renewals are currently under discussion." said YG Entertainment.
