In a Facebook post, Kulas expressed how thankful he was that Biñan City Rep. Len Alonte administered his oath as she was the principal author of the first House Bill to grant Philippine citizenship to him.

The vlogger also thanked his close family and friends and mentioned that it was a privilege to wear an outfit showcasing Pinoy ingenuity on the day he officially became a Filipino.

“It was an absolute honor to wear a 100% Filipino made Bamboo Textile Barong today. Designed by Francis Libiran, and developed by DOST -PTRI. Day one as a Filipino, proudly wearing Filipino textiles!”

His barong was made with a silk-bamboo textile woven in Aklan, and his pants, a lyocell-bamboo textile woven in Quezon.
