The release of Busted’s ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’ is now just a week away, a collection that combines thrilling new collaborations and dynamic reworks of their collection of killer hits. Now Busted proves they’re as good as ever as they unleash the album’s all-new single ‘Good One’.

‘Good One’ isn’t a song that Busted would’ve written the first time. Opening with Charlie Simpson’s unique voice on a synth-pop soundbed, its melancholy lyrics accept that the relationships, friendships, and connections we have now won’t last forever. But then, with the help of vocal harmonies from James Bourne and Matt Willis, the trio bound into the instantly addictive bouncy pop-rock hook that they’re renowned for - complete with the message that if so many things in our lives are fleeting, let’s make the most of them while we can. And that proves that twenty years on, a more mature Busted certainly hasn’t lost its frenetic fun factor.

Busted’s Charlie says, “Good one is all about the nostalgia of friends not seeing each other for a long time and making the most of the moments you get with each other, so it seemed particularly appropriate for us to release around our greatest hits tour when we are seeing so many faces that we haven’t seen for such a long time”.
