23 turn backs on CPP-NPA in Nueva Ecija


GABALDON/LLANERA Nueva Ecija – Five former members of the Alyansa ng Mamamayang Nagkakaisa (ALMANA) and 18 members of the Liga ng Mangagawang Bukid (LMB) and Alyansang Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMGL) under the Kilusan ng Magsasaka ng Pilipinas (KMP) in these two towns withdrew their support to the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front  on September 13.

Police conducted special intelligence operations in Barangay Calabasa, Gabaldon, which facilitated the withdrawal of support of five former members of ALMANA and residents of the barangay.

On the same day, lawmen also facilitated the withdrawal of support of 18 members of LMB and AMLG under KLP in Barangay Mabini, Llanera.

They took their oath and signed their pledge of allegiance to the government. They received food packs courtesy of the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and 2nd PMFC.

Documentation and continuous custodial debriefing to gather relevant information that can be utilized for future police and military operations from the surrenderers are ongoing.
