Vendor found dead in Kabankalan City

BACOLOD CITY – The decomposing body of a vendor was found in Purok 7, Barangay Linao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on Monday, September 11.

Police identified the victim as Bryan Cabrera, 29, of Barangay Salong, Kabankalan City.

The victim was last seen on Saturday morning, September 9, on his way to work, according to his mother.

However, he failed to return that night, prompting his family to report him as missing to the police the following day.

The victim was found lifeless on the irrigation canal on the side of the road, with his motorcycle, two days later.

Police believe that the victim overshot into the canal and drowned in the water.
