CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 is recruiting 200 new police officers this year under the attrition qouta.
The Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit (RRSU)-13 disclosed that 1,520 applicants have submitted their folders from September 4 to 11 and has started processing their applications.
The next phase for 1,006 male and 514 female applicants will be the measurement of Body Mass Index (BMI) which requires 26.5 for the maximum and 18.5 for the minimum, it said.
After the BMI, applicants will undergo the Physical Agility Test, Psychiatric and Psychological Examination, and Physical, Medical, and Dental Examination.
Applicants who will pass the recruitment process will be subjected to rigorous training at the Regional Training Center-13 in Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
Successful trainees will take their oath before the end of the year.
“I have full trust that the RRSU-13 will choose the recruits of the highest caliber. Our stringent recruitment process helps identify candidates with the necessary skills, knowledge, and values required for policing work,” PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said.
They will have the rank of Police Patrolman or Patrolwoman, entitled to a full salary of P29,668 a month, PRO-13 Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) chief Major Jennifer S. Ometer.
