In light of these figures, the DOH issued a reminder to the public not to become complacent in the face of the ongoing Covid-19 threat.
The DOH emphasized the importance of continuing to adhere to minimum health standards. This includes the continued use of well-fitting facemasks and spending time in well-ventilated areas to reduce the risk of transmission.
For individuals experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, the DOH advises immediate isolation to prevent potential spread.
In addition, the public is strongly urged to get their Covid-19 vaccines and booster shots as soon as possible to enhance their protection against the virus.
