PH hits 94.23% utilization rate for bivalent vaccines – DOH
The Department of Health (DOH) has successfully administered the bivalent Covid-19 vaccines to 366,561 individuals representing 94.23 percent of the total allocated vaccines received from the Lithuanian government.

According to the updated data provided by the DOH as of Sept. 11, a total of 338,980 bivalent vaccine doses have been allocated with a cumulative total of 366,561 vaccinations administered.
Additionally, the DOH has reported that the daily vaccination rate has reached 4,135 doses, marking a 1.06 percent increase. This indicated that there are 13,394 remaining vaccine doses to be utilized.
The DOH has emphasized that these 13,394 doses are necessary to meet daily vaccination requirements, ensuring the efficient distribution and utilization of the bivalent vaccines to combat Covid-19 in the Philippines.
The DOH said it is actively engaged in negotiations with the COVAX facility and Gavi to secure allocations of Covid-19 bivalent vaccines for the Philippines. (Zekinah Elize Espina)
