Las Piñas LGU issues traffic advisory for bar exams in Muntinlupa

The Las Piñas City government issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of heavy traffic during the 2023 bar examinations at San Beda Alabang in neighboring Muntinlupa City on Sept. 17, 20 and 24.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar advised residents to plan their trips and routes in advance and to allow extra time for travel during the exam dates from 3 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Aguilar said the increased congestion is expected along Alabang-Zapote Road, particularly near Don Manolo Boulevard in Alabang Hills.

She said the event is expected to attract thousands of examiners, their families, and spectators, contributing to heavy traffic in and around the venue.

The mayor said friendship sticker holders may use the alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Aguilar also encouraged residents to exercise patience and to observe road courtesy during this period.
