The Elasto Painters hold the third and fourth overall picks in this year's deep draft that will feature the likes of Ricci Rivero, Schonny Winston, Ken Tuffin, Zav Lucero, Luis Villegas, and Fil-Americans Brandon Bates, Keith Datu and Stephen Holt.

"We're looking for size but at the same time kung meron kang nakikitang talent dyan na sa tingin mo kahit hindi masyadong malaki pero mayroong talent na magkakaroon agad ng immediate impact magiging mas mahirap na desisyon iyon," said Guiao.

The veteran mentor was on the sidelines during the second day of the draft combine at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong City on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Looking at the performance of players, Guiao is convinced that this year's edition is rich in talent and a lot of players are brimming with potential just waiting to be tapped.

Even at the second round, Guiao is confident that Rain or Shine can still secure quality players although it is keeping its options open especially with its two first round picks since the decision will also depend on who Terrafirma and Blackwater are selecting in the first and second picks.

"Nung una gusto mong magpalaki lang gusto mo size lang pero nakikita natin ngayon yung mga bata makikita natin maraming may potensyal talaga, maraming magaling," added Guiao who is known for his penchant for developing players that are picked in the latter rounds and turning them into bonafide stars.

"We're looking at size but not discounting the talent , whoever has the best talent available when you get to pick your choice," he added.
