DFMI addresses Gov. Daniel Fernando's health condition

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando recently captured the attention of both local and regional news outlets.

This, after a video of him seemingly having difficulty speaking made it to social media.

The Damayang Filipino Movement, Inc. (DFMI) swiftly responded by assuring the public of the former actor's well-being.

In a statement, they explained that on the evening of Sept. 11, following a day of office duties, Fernando, who is also the founder of DFMI, attended an event at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

During the event, he experienced an unusual sensation, prompting Vice Governor Alex C. Castro to promptly provide initial aid.

At present, the governor is resting and his condition has improved, they reiterated.

According to his doctors, Fernando simply pushed himself too hard and became dehydrated.

"Sa ngayon sya po ay kasalukuyang nagpapahinga at maganda na ang kalagayan sa tulong ng ating Panginoon. Ayon po sa kanyang mga doktor ay nasobrahan lamang po sa pagod at dehydrated ang ating The People's Governor," was how they put it.

Meanwhile, DFMI expressed gratitude to everyone offering prayers, well-wishes, and love for Fernando.
