Binangonan LGU leads tree planting activities as gift for Pres. Marcos Jr.

Officials and residents of Binangonan, Rizal on Wednesday, September 13, planted fruit-bearing trees and ornamental plants in various locations in the town as their birthday gift to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.   

The office of Mayor Cesar Ynares said employees, village leaders and residents, including members and officials of the town’s women's organization, joined the local officials in the greening activities in various places in the town on Wednesday morning.

Barkadahan ng Kababaihan sa Binangonan, a women's group led by Dr. Rose Callanta Ynares, the wife of Mayor Ynares, also gathered some of the group's members to take part in the tree planting event.

Vacant spaces, sidewalks on the main road and pavements on sidestreets turned into instant gardens as the greening project was held in time for the President's birthday.
