"Maging maayos na ang agrikultura (A better agriculture)," Marcos said on Tuesday, Sept. 12, when asked about his birthday wish.

He said that he was also wishing that the government could determine whether the country is experiencing wet or dry season to identify the assistance it could provide to affected farmers.

"At malaman na natin kung ano ba talaga ang weather, wet season ba o dry season para naman matulungan natin yung mga farmer natin (And to determine the weather is, if it is dry season or wet season to be able to help our farmers)," Marcos said.

"Yun lamang naman ang aking panalangin pa rin hanggang ngayon (That's my only prayer until now)," he added.

The President was at the Department of Agrarian (DAR) office in Quezon City on Tuesday for the presentation of the Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR) of the New Agrarian Emancipation Act and the signing of the Executive Order extending the moratorium payments by farmer beneficiaries of amortization on agrarian debt.

Marcos currently heads the Agriculture department in a concurrent capacity.
