Las Piñas' Kaagapay street sweepers hold convention

Kaagapay street sweepers of Barangay Alamanza Dos, Las Piñas City, convened on Monday, Sept. 11, to further enhance the quality of their services and better serve the community.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the Kaagapay street sweepers held their general meeting at the Las Piñas Botanical Garden together with the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO), which served as an open platform for the sweepers to share their experiences, concerns, and recommendations.

She said several actions were agreed upon, including a revised duty roster to better cover all areas and other sanitation concerns.

The mayor said the Kaagapay Street Sweepers, who are known for their dedication and work ethics, have been a fixture in Barangay Almanza Dos for years. 

Aguilar said their meeting at the Las Piñas Botanical Garden marks a significant step toward a cleaner community for all residents.
