Cousins arrested for murder, illegal possession of drugs in Pasay
Two suspects involved in shooting to death a 24-year-old woman were arrested during a follow-up operation conducted by members of the Pasay police Investigation and Detection Management Section (IDMS) and Substation 5 on Monday, September 11.

The pieces of evidence recovered from the suspects.
In a report submitted by city police chief Col. Froilan Uy to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspects were identified as cousins, Rommel Napoles, 42, and John Paul, 32.
Uy said the suspects were arrested at around 11:30 a.m. inside their house located along Sitio San Juan St., Barangay 190,Zone 20.
The city police chief said that during the follow-up operation, the suspects were found to be engaged in a shabu session.
Uy said the team of IDMS and Substation 5 conducted the follow-up operation after a shooting incident that was reported at around 2:30 a.m. on the same day which resulted in the death of Mae Andrea Abueme, Napoles' live-in partner.
The mother of the victim, Maricel Abueme, told the police that her daughter had a heated argument with Napoles, which led to the shooting.
Police recovered from the suspects were 0.76 grams of shabu worth P5,168 and drug paraphernalia such as lighter, foil strip, and aluminum foil being used as a tooter.
Uy said that during confrontation, Abueme positively identified John Paul as the person who shot her daughter.
The suspects were immediately brought to the police custodial facility and charged with murder and illegal possession of drugs.
