3-day water interruptions hit southern Metro Manila

Maynilad Water Services, Inc. has announced service disruptions in the south of Metro Manila starting Thursday, Sept. 14 to Saturday, Sept. 16.

Maintenance is necessary for conducting repairs in the leaking valve assembly of the main water line along Las Piñas-Talaba Diversion Road in Bacoor, Cavite, according to a statement posted on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

The list of barangays and their schedule affected by the activity are as follows:

Sept. 14 to 15, from 8 PM to 12 PM

Cavite City – 1 to 9, 10A, 10B, 11 to 21, 22, 22A, 23 to 28, 29A, 31 to 35, 36, 37M, 37 A, 38, 38A, 39 to 41, 42, 42A, 42B, 42C, 43 to 44, 45, 45A, 46, 47, 47A, 47B, 48, 48A, 49, 49A, 50 to 52, 53, 53A, 53B, 54A, 54M, 55 to 58, 58A, 59 to 60, 61, 61A, 62, 62A, 62B, Fort San Felipe, Sangley Point.

Residents are urged to stock up on their water supply before the start of the service interruption. After the maintenance, Maynilad also advised to let the water flow out of their taps until the water clears. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
