Toddler drowns in swimming pool in Laguna

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – A four-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool on Sunday morning, September 10, in Barangay Pansol, this city.

Police said the victim, Darvin Ryco Binza, went missing and was later found in the bottom of the swimming pool at 1:30 a.m. after a thorough search.

Binza was taken to a hospital but was declared dead at 7:53 a.m. Sunday.

Investigation said the child’s family with their friends and neighbors were having a swimming party when he drowned.
