PWD drowns in Batangas

LOBO, Batangas – A 30-year-old Person with Disability drowned in the sea in Barangay Lagadlarin here on Sunday morning, September 10.

Police identified the victim as Justine Panopio of Quezon City.

Panopio’s body was seen by a concerned citizen floating on the shallow portion of the sea at around 11 a.m.

He was taken to a hospital here where he was declared dead.

The victim’s family told police that they did not notice him was going outside the resort where they were staying and swimming alone in the sea.
