PDEA nabs owner, patrons of drug den in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental arrested five persons, including two teenagers, and dismantled a drug den in a buy-bust operation on Ylagan St., Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Saturday, September 9.

The owner of the drug den, Amado Palabrica, 53, of Barangay 6, was arrested.

Police Capt. Ryan Villasario, deputy chief of the San Carlos City Police Station, said that four others, including two boys aged 17 and 18, were taken into custody after they were caught in the drug den.

Confiscated from them were 12 grams of suspected shabu worth P81,600, an improvised tooter, and three lighters.

Villasario said they are checking the background of the suspects.
