Manila to close some roads near UST, San Beda for 2023 Bar exams


The Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau will close roads near the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and San Beda University for the upcoming 2023 Bar Examination.

The City of Manila informed the public on Monday, Sept. 11, that Dapitan Street (from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) and España Boulevard Westbound (two lanes from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) will be closed from  3:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 17, 20, and 24.

Meanwhile, the Legarda Street eastbound (both lanes from San Rafael St. to Mendiola Street), Mendiola Street (both lanes from Peace Arch to Malacañang gate) and Concepcion Aguila Street (both lanes from Mendiola to Jose Laurel Street) will be closed from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the same dates.

The city government advises the motorists to take alternate routes as heavy traffic is expected near the two universities on the exam days.
