Fire hits house in QC

A fire hit a two-story residential house on Matimtiman St. in Barangay Teachers Village, Quezon City early Monday morning, Sept. 11.

According to the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), the fire started at around 4:45 a.m.

Firefighters were able to put the fire under control at around 5:17 a.m.

It was extinguished at around 5:37 a.m.

The BFP put the estimated cost of property damage at around P250,000.

The fire reportedly originated from the ceiling of the comfort room on the second floor, BFP added.

No one was hurt during the incident.
