BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a member of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental on Saturday, September 9.
Police Major Jovito Bose, Moises Padilla police chief, identified the suspect as Ryan Dominggo, 40, of Barangay Inolingan, Moises Padilla.
Dominggo yielded 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000.
Bose said they launched an operation against the suspect after they received information that he is engaged in the illegal drugs trade.
He said the suspect has no derogatory record with the Army.
But the suspect is allegedly one of the big-time suppliers of illegal drugs in the town and the neighboring municipality of La Castellana.
Drug charges were filed against the suspect on Monday, September 11.
