1,018 out of 5,626 examinees to receive Local Treasurer Eligibility- CSC


The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced that more than 1,000 individuals are set to attain Local Treasurer Eligibility (LTE).

As reported by CSC, 1,018 out of 5,626 or 18.09 percent gained LTE after passing the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) held last June 11.

Jenny B. Sagario from the Zamboanga Peninsula (Region IX) topped the board exam, garnering 92.62 percent.

Meanwhile, Charlie C. Bastida from Northern Mindanao (Region X), with a rating of 92.31, secured the second spot, while Leynette Joy A. Lepaopao, also from Northern Mindanao, scored 92 percent claiming the third spot.

To complete the top performers' list, Neil R. Dacoylo from Central Visayas (Region VII) and Marianne S. Irabagon of Central Luzon (Region III) both earned a rating of 91.69 percent; Janine F. Giltendez from (Region VII), Niña L. Alviar of Calabarzon (Region IV), and Romiel P. Mariñas from Cagayan Valley (Region II) with a score of 91.38; Jerome D. Estores from Calabarzon garnered a rating of 91.08 percent; Denis Y. Maguiwe, Jr. from Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Jonathan S. Advincula from Soccsksargen (Region XII), and Flor Mae R. Gahi form Region VII, all achieving a rating of 90.77 precent.


"Congratulations to our new local treasurers and assistant treasurers," CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said in Filipino.

"We are excited to have you be a part of the civil service towards a better and quality local treasury of the country," he added.


Nograles also encouraged people who failed the tests, stating, "This is not the end of your dream. A reliable staff is not only measured in skill but also in hard work and dedication."


"We will wait for you at the public service," he added.

The CSC reported that as of regional performance, the Bicol Region secured the top position with an impressive passing rate of 28.95 percent.

Other regions also achieved notable passing rates, including Calabarzon with 26.71 percent, Cagayan Valley with 24.62 percent, Central Luzon with 23.99 percent, and Ilocos Region with 23.87 percent.

Examinees can generate their test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System, which is accessible at www.csc.gov.ph.

Moreover, passers are advised to coordinate with the CSC Regional Office for requirements and procedures regarding the release of the Certificate of Eligibility (CEO).
