The Fil-Japanese Olympian fired four birdies marred by two bogeys at the front nine to post a three-round total of 205, four strokes behind new leader Lee Minjee.
She had earlier rounds of 69 and 66.
Lee jumped from seventh to the top leaderboard with a bogey-free 65 after shooting seven birdies including four at the back nine.
She totaled 201 after earlier rounds of 67 and 69 to take a two-stroke lead over second-round leader Chien Peiyun and Charley Hull.
Chien lost her touch and limped home with a 73 for 203, where she had a rollercoaster front nine of two birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey on No. 1.
The Taiwanese tried to regain her composure in the last nine holes, but managed with four more birdies against three bogeys.
Hull, for her part, stumbled with a triple bogey in the first hole but quickly recovered by shooting seven birdies for a 68.
Meanwhile, Dottie Ardina continued to slip after faltering with an 80 for joint 77th.
After a hot start that saw her sharing second place with a 66, Ardina lost her steam with a second-round 74 before plummeting in the third round for a 220 total.
She only managed a single birdie on the 12th and came up with five bogeys and two double bogeys.
