NCCA orients Las Piñas Tourism Office on cultural property inventory
The National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) held an orientation on the processes for cultural property inventory to members of the Las Piñas City Tourism and Cultural Office (LPTCO).

The LPTCO, headed by Paul Ahljay San Miguel, was given guidelines in consolidating all of the city’s cultural property that are deemed important to the cultural heritage of Las Piñas.
These guidelines were provided by the NCCA and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)- Las Piñas.
San Miguel said the orientation discussed the importance of documenting all the vital information on the city’s tourism.
He said the orientation is one of the important steps taken by the city government to give protection and importance to the history and culture of Las Piñas.
The LPTCO head added that the city government supports the office's programs in preserving the city’s rich culture and history.
During the 1896 Philippine Revolution, Las Piñas City became a major battleground in the fights between the Philippine revolutionary groups and the Spanish colonial forces.
