According to Paul Ahljay San Miguel, head of the LPTCO, his team was warmly welcomed by DTCAM Head Charlie Dungo, who shared their experiences in formulating a comprehensive tourism plan in Manila.

San Miguel was very thankful to DTCAM for a fruitful discussion and exchange of knowledge and experiences in creating better tourism promotion strategies for the cities.

Dungo led a tour of the famous Manila Clock Tower, a 100-ft high structure that is considered the largest clock tower in the Philippines.

The Manila Clock Tower was recognized as a major tourist attraction and historical landmark in Manila, showcasing its rich history, cultural heritage, and offers a panoramic view of the city.

San Miguel said, aside from visiting the Manila Clock Tower, his group also toured the Fort Santiago, one of the oldest fortresses in Manila built by the Spaniards in 1571.
