19 Manila villages to experience water interruption

Nineteen villages in the City of Manila will experience water service interruption on Sept. 15-16, Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The water interruption in Barangays 363 to 371, and 373 to 382 will start at 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Maynilad said the service cut is due to the upcoming network maintenance activity near the corner of Blumentritt Road and Rizal Avenue.

"These activities are being done as part of the company's continuous effort to improve water services in the West Zone," the advisory read.

Affected customers were advised to store water before the scheduled water interruption.

Meanwhile, Maynilad assured customers that they have water tankers on standby to be deployed in the affected areas when needed.
