K-pop group TXT, Anitta, Doja Cat to perform at 2023 MTV Video Music Awards
The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) unveiled the next set of performers for the ceremony that will be held on Sept. 12 at Prudential Center in New Jersey in the US.
The second group of performers consists of K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT), Brazilian singer Anitta, Doja Cat, Lil Wayne and Kelsea Ballerini.

“No, you are NOT dreaming: @TXT_MEMBERS ARE PERFORMING AT THE 2023 #VMAS!!” the VMAs posted on X. It said TXT will be performing with Anitta at the VMAs.
According to TXT, “We are truly honored to perform at the 2023 MTV VMAs!”
They are nominated at the VMAs this year in two categories: Push Performance of the Year and Best K-pop for “Sugar Rush Ride.”
The other nominees for Best K-pop are Aespa, “Girls”; BLACKPINK, “Pink Venom”; Fifty Fifty, “Cupid”; Seventeen, “Super”; and Stray Kids, “S-Class.”
Tomorrow X Together will premiere a brand new single and make history with their VMAs debut as the first K-Pop band to do cross-genre for an international performance with Brazilian singer Anitta.
TXT will be joining fellow K-pop group Stray Kids as performers at the VMAs.
Stray Kids, Demi Lovato, Karol G and Måneskin were previously announced as the first round of performers for the VMAs.
In addition, BLACKPINK bagged four nominations at the VMAs for Best K-Pop, Best Choreography, Best Art Direction and Best Editing, all for “Pink Venom.”
