4 houses gutted in Tondo fire

Four houses were damaged in a fire that broke out in Barangay 106 in Tondo, Manila on Friday morning, Sept. 1. 
 
The Manila Police District (MPD) said the fire started in a house at Block 6, Magsaysay Village at 9:20 a.m.
 
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was raised to first alarm at 9:28 a.m. and second alarm at 9:43 a.m.
 
The fire was put under control at 10:06 a.m. and was extinguished at 10:10 a.m.
 
The arson investigator said four families, or around 15 individuals, were affected by the fire.

The incident caused P15,000 worth of damages. 
 
No one was injured in the incident.
 
Probers have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
 
However, in a Facebook live, some residents in the area were accusing an unidentified man of starting the fire. 
 
Authorities are still verifying this information.
