Even though she’s no longer training under the same roof as Stamp Fairtex, Denice Zamboanga hasn’t forgotten the bond she once shared with her old friend.

In fact, the Filipina standout is throwing support behind the Thai superstar as the latter tries to become the first-ever three-sport ONE World Champion.
Top-ranked Stamp is set to face second-ranked contender Ham Seo Hee for the ONE Interim Atomweight MMA World Title in the main event of ONE Fight Night 14, which takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Sept. 29.
Zamboanga, the current #3-ranked atomweight MMA contender, believes Stamp holds the upper hand heading into this high-stakes matchup.
According to Zamboanga, Stamp's ability to seamlessly blend her striking with her grappling has transformed her into a more well-rounded competitor, a trait that will undoubtedly work to her advantage against a seasoned opponent like Ham.
“I think Stamp is going to win this fight because she’s the more well-rounded fighter. Her aggression will overpower Ham,” she said.
While Zamboanga perceives Stamp as the more versatile fighter in this contest, she remains cautious of Ham's fight IQ and her knack for making in-fight adjustments.
Zamboanga’s insights come from personal experience. After all, “The Menace” faced the Korean power-hitter twice, unfortunately falling short on both occasions.
“Ham is great at reading opponents. She can figure out an opponent’s style and adapt. And she’s physically very strong,” Zamboanga said.
Yet, despite these past encounters, Zamboanga is unwavering in her endorsement of her former teammate, asserting that Stamp possesses the tools needed to overcome the obstacles presented by Ham.
In a bold and confident prediction, Zamboanga envisions Stamp emerging victorious over Ham, and not just by a decision.
“I see a knockout win for Stamp Fairtex via body shot. I’ve felt Stamp’s body kicks in training, and it’s a knockout blow. I know how that feels, and it’s not good,” she said.
