Keith Datu came back with a bang as he delivered the goods in the guest team's 16-13 squeaker over Meralco in the third place game.

Recovering from a sprained ankle, the Fil-Am big man dropped eight points and three rebounds as they came home with the P30,000 prize.

Louie Vigil also had hot hands on the day, puncturing four points in the battle for third as Yutien Andrada and TH Tumalip also made valuable contributions.

"We're happy to finally make it to the top three, but we're not satisfied yet. We know we still have grounds to gain and we're ready to give it our all come the Grand Finals next week," said coach Anton Altamirano as the team dedicated the win to team manager Eric Altamirano who celebrated his 57th birthday.

It's a big bounce back for Wilcon Depot 3x3 after going winless in Leg 5, this time making sure that it's at its A-game from start to finish.

Wilcon Depot 3x3 topped Pool B with huge victories over Pioneer, 18-11, Meralco, 19-15, and Purefoods, 21-17, before Vigil scorched NorthPort with 11 points as the guest team took the 21-11 quarterfinal win.

Though Wilcon Depot 3x3 succumbed to eventual champion TNT, 21-13, in the semifinals, it showed great resolve in securing the bronze medal finish.

Now, attention shifts to the Grand Finals on Sunday at Ayala Malls Market Market in Taguig where Wilcon Depot comes in as the sixth seed with 281 tour points.
